What is Electrocrystal Therapy?

By Kay Distel

Harry Oldfield, the innovator of this system was once a science teacher. His research is the result of a Saturday morning science class for high school students experimenting with Kirlian photography. He noticed shortcomings with the classical method as it was hard to get consistent results from different experimenters. He found that it was necessary to apply a frequency range compatible to the biological force of the test object. (a person or plant as the case may be).

From his work, he concluded the two-dimensional nature of classical Kirlian photography could not represent the dynamics of living things. A major discovery he made was that when electrical impulses were applied to living organisms, that as well as a visible corona being displayed, there were sound waves generated. He estimated the electrical impulse generator was producing a relative energy output of 70% electro-magnetic waves ( the corona discharge ) and 30% sound waves.

By continuing to apply the principles of classical Kirlian photography but altering the system, Oldfield obtained a three-dimensional representation of the dynamic energy state of living beings. This became the basis for his sound assessment system called Electro Scanning Method.(ESM)

The electrical part of Electrocrystal Therapy involves a signal generator which produces low powered electrical signals via a Tesla coil. The frequency of these signals can be adjusted from low to very high frequency. The crystal part is the crystals in the electrode which is a tube filled with crystals in a saline solution. The output from the signal generator is fed into the electrode causing the crystals to resonate.

This forms the basis of the Electroscanning method which operates as follows:

  1. The person being scanned holds the electrode loosely in one hand and the unit is turned on. This is really very gentle and the person may not feel much at all.
  2. A compatible frequency for that person is found by fine tuning, using either a sound level meter or an oscilloscope. This is done using a neutral area of the body such as an arm and adjusting the frequency until the meter reads zero. This is taken to be the ‘normal’ reading for that person.
  3. Variations form this normal reading are observed at different places on the body to determine the state of energy balance.
  4. Treatment then involves choosing a particular frequency and crystal electrode for those parts of the body which appear to be most out of balance, thus helping to bring the body’s energy back into balance.

It is well known that crystal have outstanding properties – they are reliable, constant and specific. This is why watches and even radios use quartz crystals. They can also transform from one form of energy to another. If you strike a quartz crystal, the energy transforms to a spark. They also have outstanding healing properties and can be grouped into three types : stimulators, amplifiers and calmers. For example, red crystals are generally stimulating, white quartz amplifies, and blue are calming. Treatment can be made very specific, depending on the type of crystal used in the electrode. For assessment purposes, a mixture of crystals forming a balanced spectrum is used. However, for treatment purposes, if a tranquillising effect is needed for pain relief, a tube of Lappis lazuli stones could be used, or if a person needs a stimulating effect, a ruby filled electrode is more appropriate.

Application of the Electrocrystal Therapy

Once the assessment is complete and the sites on the body that are deviating from the ‘normal’ site are known, the site is given a fifteen minutes treatment using a specifically chosen crystal electrode. Mostly treatment is weekly until the brain is re-patterned and maintains a newly acquired balanced state. However, in practice intensive additional treatment between clinical treatments is highly desirable. We have portable machines available for this purpose. When the energy field is re patterned it slows down disease and long ‘remissions’ are possible providing the mental aspects have been worked on.

Treatment is completely safe and there are no side effects. During treatment the most a patient may experience is some slight sensation like a tingling feeling, or a sensation of the spine lengthening, or a feeling of warmth as ‘dead’ tissue regenerates. There is no danger of over-treatment as excess energy seems to just drained off, like a sponge that cannot absorb more than its capacity. The frequencies applied have been carefully tested over a number of years on humans and plants, thus guaranteeing safety and accuracy. Once the technique and choice of crystal is understood, it either works or doesn’t work at all.

As described above, treatment can be given using electrocrystal therapy or, indeed, any other form of treatment. The great value of ESM and PiP in particularly is that it provides a direct view of the progress being made which is very easily understood by the client. There is not the mystique of other techniques like iridology or a set of numbers returned by a pathology laboratory – the picture is of their body and shows their energy.

This we feel is particularly important when a person has a chronic illness and where return to health may take time. Being able to actually see their progress can be very encouraging to the person. This is even more important where the treatment may require much discipline or effort, and we all know the healing value of simply knowing that we really are getting better. What is more, these methods are totally non-intrusive – they don’t require a blood sample or inflict the body to any harm.
